A decade of engineering measurable outcomes for organisations across Zimbabwe, Botswana and the wider SADC region.
To be the most trusted engineering partner in SADC — known for shipping fast, shipping right, and standing behind every system we build for as long as our clients run them.
To engineer reliable, secure and ambitious technology that gives African organisations a real, measurable competitive edge — and to do it as a partner, not a vendor.
Engineering excellence. Honest communication. Security by default. Long-term partnership. And a relentless focus on outcomes that move the business, not just metrics that move the dashboard.
Code Labs Alliance was founded in 2015 by a small group of senior engineers who shared a simple frustration: too much of the technology African businesses were buying was built somewhere else, for someone else, and bolted onto problems it was never designed for.
So we started building differently — close to the problem, close to the people using the systems, and accountable for the outcome long after launch.
Ten years later we have grown into two offices, a senior multi-disciplinary team and a portfolio that spans banks, telecoms, government agencies, healthcare providers, retailers, NGOs and high-growth SMEs across SADC. We have shipped 400+ projects and we still answer every single new enquiry the same way we did on day one — with a real engineer, on a real call, talking about the real problem.
That, we think, is the entire difference.
Code Labs Alliance opens its first office with a focus on custom software for financial services and SME digitisation in Zimbabwe.
Signed multi-year managed-IT and software engineering retainers with two of the country's largest financial institutions.
Launched a dedicated security and cloud practice — penetration testing, SOC operations and AWS/Azure migration for regulated environments.
Began delivering cross-border engagements across South Africa, Zambia, Namibia and Mozambique, plus remote delivery into the UK and EU.
Opened our Gaborone office at The Hub iTowers CBD to serve clients in Botswana and the wider Southern African market.
Stood up a full AI/ML and data analytics practice — production model deployment, MLOps, and decision-grade dashboards.
A decade in. Two offices, a senior team, and over two hundred shipped projects — and we're just getting started.
No project gets handed off to juniors after the contract is signed. The people you meet in the kick-off are the people who design, build and operate your system.
